Melis Cakar (she/her)

Melis is a recent graduate (Ph.D.) at the SCAN lab and is co-mentored by Dr. Mirella Dapretto at UCLA. Her dissertation focused on the role of the cerebellum in ASD. In addition to research, Melis is passionate about science communication and outreach. Melis currently works in health communication.

Apurva Chaturvedi (she/her)

Apurva Chaturvedi was a Staff Research Associate at the SCAN Lab. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in Psychobiology with a minor in Visual and Performing Arts Education. She is currently in medical school at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine.

Urvi Shah (she/her)

Urvi Shah was a Staff Research Associate at the SCAN Lab. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Computing. She is currently in medical school at the University of Washington.
