Lab Members Shine at INSAR 2025: Panel Presentation and Award-Winning Research
Principal Investigator Presents on Sensory Processing Panel
Our Principal Investigator, Dr. Shulamite Green, was invited to present on the panel “Neural Mechanisms of Bottom-up and Top-Down Influences on Sensory Processing in Autism” during the conference’s final day. The panel explored the complex interactions between sensory input and cognitive processing in autistic individuals— research that sits at the heart of our lab’s investigations. The presentation provided an opportunity to share our latest findings with leading experts and engage in meaningful scientific discourse about this critical area of autism research.
Staff Research Associate Receives Top-Rated Abstract Award
We are proud to announce that Staff Research Associate Apurva Chaturvedi received a Top-Rated Abstract Award for her poster: “How Observed and Reported Measures of Sensory Processing Predict Physiological Measures in Autism Spectrum Disorder.” Apurva’s work was featured in the conference’s Top Posters section and we are beyond excited to see her work be recognized.
Advancing INSAR’s Mission Through Quality Research
Our participation at INSAR 2025 reflects our lab’s alignment with the organization’s core mission of promoting high-quality, inclusive, and impactful autism research. The conference reinforced our commitment to INSAR’s strategic pillars: conducting rigorous research, effectively sharing findings, and ensuring equitable participation in research initiatives.
The connections forged and insights gained at INSAR 2025 will inform our ongoing work as we continue developing research that is scientifically robust, clinically relevant, and ultimately beneficial to autistic individuals and their families. We look forward to building on these collaborations and contributing to the field’s continued advancement.
